Zero Telemetry Commitment
Laki Money stores and processes all your accounts, transactions, balances, and AI queries strictly on your physical device. We have no remote financial database, sell no user data, and track zero transactions.
1. Information We Handle
Financial Records: Accounts, transactions, categories, dates, bills, and savings targets are saved directly in an encrypted SQLite database on your device.
On-Device AI ("Money AI"): Conversations and spending queries are executed 100% locally by open-source models (Qwen 2.5, SmolLM2, Gemma 2) running on your device hardware. Queries are never forwarded to external cloud LLM APIs.
Voice Input: When you tap the microphone, speech is transcribed locally via on-device speech recognition. Raw audio files are never stored or uploaded.
Biometric Security: Handled securely by the Android OS BiometricPrompt hardware. Laki Money never accesses or stores your fingerprint or face data.

Only activated when tapping the mic to transcribe voice commands (e.g. "Petrol ₹500").
USE_BIOMETRIC
Used to unlock the application using device fingerprint/face security.
INTERNET
Used exclusively to download open-source AI models from HuggingFace and fetch currency rates.
3. Data Deletion & Control
Because all data lives on your device, you have instant and absolute control:
Instant Local Wipe: Clear all transactions, wallets, and chat sessions in Settings > Data Management > Clear All Data.
Uninstall: Uninstalling Laki Money immediately and permanently deletes the local database and all application records from your phone.
